West Ham United could make a move to sign Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from The Mirror which claims the Liverpool midfielder could be set for an exit from Anfield this summer, after being left out of the starting XI selected by Jurgen Klopp to face Southampton on Tuesday night.

Hammers manager David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
The Scot needs to strengthen all over the pitch, especially in the middle of the park.
Adding a versatile midfielder would do the trick this summer and that’s where Liverpool’s Oxlade-Chamberlain comes in…
West Ham considering summer transfer for Liverpool star
The Mirror believe the 28-year-old Reds man is firmly on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
The only thing we don’t like about the report is the mention at the end that the beef could be used in some sort of swap deal for West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen. Obviously that won’t happen.
However, a stand-alone move to sign Oxlade-Chamblerlain from Liverpool could work well for the Hammers.
The 28-year-old is incredibly versatile. He can operate as a box-to-box midfielder, further forward in a playing role or on either wing.
The Ox, who earns £110,000 a week (Football League FC) possesses a blistering pace and he is incredibly powerful. He has all the attributes needed to excel in the central midfield role and the Liverpool ace would provide West Ham with another truly first-class option in the middle of the park.
The Liverpool man has struggled with injury issues in the past and that will be of some concern to the Hammers.
If he can manage his fitness properly, he could be a useful addition for West Ham. Former Arsenal team-mate Aaron Ramsey described the Ox as “very explosive” (Arsenal website).
Oxlade-Chamberlain will be desperate to play regular football in the first half of next season, with the World Cup in Qatar on the horizon.
A move to the London Stadium from Anfield might just give him the chance to show Gareth Southgate what he’s got.
He has made just 42 starts for the Merseyside side since moving to Anfield from Arsenal in the summer of 2017, so a move away from Liverpool this summer seems almost inevitable.
And if West Ham manage to seal a summer transfer for Liverpool ace Oxlade-Chamberlain for a reasonable fee, we think it could work out well for us and him.
