Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham continue to be among the most active clubs in Europe in this summer’s transfer window. Indeed, the three London giants appear to be doing all they can to strengthen ahead of the new season, even if that means battling with Premier League rivals in the market.
Raheem Sterling is set to move to Stamford Bridge and could well be joined by Manchester City team-mate Nathan Ake, with the two clubs in advanced talks. Elsewhere, co-owner Todd Boehly is reportedly ready to do battle with Manchester United for Barcelona star Frenkie De Jong and could even include TWO players on a part-swap deal in order to land the Barcelona star. If all that wasn’t enough, the links with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo continue.
In north London, Arsenal are still hoping to sign United target Lisandro Martinez, while there has been a new update in Spurs’ pursuit of Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni amid the imminent arrival of Clement Lenglet. Follow all the latest transfer news and gossip in our LIVE blog below!

William Gallas: Cristiano Ronaldo is NOT suitable for Chelsea

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a world-class player and everyone knows he wants to play Champions League football,” he told Genting Casino.
“I don’t think he would be suitable for Chelsea. Cristiano and Thomas Tuchel should have a good conversation because if Chelsea really want to sign him they will have to talk about everything.”

Matthijs de Ligt: A fresh insight into Chelsea
Chelsea’s pursuit of Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt appears to have cooled in recent weeks, with the club now linked with a move for Manchester City’s Nathan Ake.
Still, according to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, there’s every chance the Dutchman will still be of interest at Stamford Bridge.
“I know (Thomas) Tuchel put him (Matthijs de Ligt) at the top of his list and the Premier League is perfect for a player like Matthijs,” he told wettfreunde.
“Bayern Munich want him, as you said. They are two big clubs. It obviously depends on what Matthijs wants.
“Chelsea of course, the Premier League is the best league in the world. And they lost Christensen, they lost Rudiger, so they need a better defender.”
“So it’s hard to say whether it’s better to go to Chelsea or Bayern because at Chelsea Matthijs can become one of the best defenders in the Premier League.”
