TOP STORY: Benfica demand £127m for Nunez transfer

Benfica have announced their transfer fee should they part ways with the striker Darwin Nunez in summer, according to the Sun.

Nunez is believed to have a release clause of around £127m, although the latest suggests the Lisbon club are ready to allow him to leave for a fee of around £113m.

Manchester United and Arsenal are believed to be leading the race for his signature.

The 22-year-old striker has found himself on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs this season, with West Ham United having a club-record offer of £60m turned down in the January transfer window .

The Uruguay international has scored 29 goals this season, most recently netting against Liverpool in Benfica’s Champions League quarter-final first leg at Estadio la Luz.
