Noble sends message to West Ham owners
Mark Noble has sent a parting message to West Ham owners and urged the board to back manager David Moyes.
The veteran midfielder waved an emotional goodbye to home fans after playing his final match at the London Stadium on Sunday.
He will retire at the end of the season, marking the end of an era in East London. And having already qualified for Europe next season, Noble has told bosses they will need to bring in a number of players to continue progressing next season.
“Obviously we have a pretty big summer ahead, because we have a few players out of contract, a few players leaving,” he said on the club’s YouTube channel.
“We’re probably missing two or three players, so we’ll have to add to the squad.
“For obvious reasons, the dynamics of the dressing room are going to change because I won’t be there and you have people like Yarma (Andriy Yarmolenko), who is an experienced pro, I read something he will go.
“So there are some off-contract deals that might not be there. But me knowing the manager and the staff here, they will recover quickly and be ready to play next season.
