Tottenham Hotspur are looking to the future when it comes to rebuilding their squad.
These are the rumors surrounding the North Londoners at the moment, which should be rebuilt in the eyes of many fans, after Antonio Conte took center stage in the fall.
Although Conte has used his past experience at Chelsea and Inter Milan to win titles, Spurs are believed to be going in a different direction in the future.
The Lilywhites, after all, enjoyed one of their most successful spells in the Premier League when they handed Mauricio Pochettino a core of developing talent, finishing second in the league behind Conte’s Chelsea in 2017.
Tottenham are believed to be targeting two EFL stars in Bristol City’s Alex Scott and Brentford’s Keane Lewis-Potter. Scott can play as a right-back or a midfielder, while Lewis-Potter is more of a striker – and both could give Conte the youthful verve to propel his side.
With Dane Scarlett and Ryan Sessegnon also getting game time – not to mention new signing Cristian Romero is 23 and new Swede Dejan Kulusevski is just 21 – it could be a fruitful tactic from Chairman Daniel Levy.
Tottenham are currently battling for the top four with rivals like Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham United.
