Tottenham could advance talks with Juventus over the permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski, who has impressed the north London side well enough.
According to TuttoJuve, Tottenham and Juventus could start talks over the permanent transfer of Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish star has sufficiently impressed the Spurs board, who would like to push ahead with negotiations rather than expected to complete the winger’s signing permanently.
Dejan Kulusevski was on the radars of many big clubs, with Juventus looking set to offload him in January. The Swede has been impressive since joining the Italian side, who surprised many with his decision to part ways with the striker.
Former football director Fabio Paratici was alert to the opportunity and used his influence to strike a deal with Juventus. Tottenham have signed Kulusevski on an 18-month loan, with an option to buy him outright for 35 million euros.
Kulusevsi has impressed Tottenham officials enough after putting up some impressive performances since joining the team. After the January window, Antonio Conte complained of a weakened squad, although the Swede’s presence certainly improved them from an attacking perspective.

Conte praised Kulusevski after Spurs destroyed Leeds United, with the Swede proving sensational on the right side of attack. He has scored four times and provided two assists in nine games for Tottenham. His impressive performances now make the club think about its future.
Tottenham could start talks with Juventus 12 months before they have ideally started as per the contract. With a €35m option to buy already present, Spurs could look to sign him permanently during the summer window, instead of waiting until 2023.
North Londoners are keen to keep Kulusevski as they see him as a good player with great prospects. They want to make a deal when his value is reasonable, although it could skyrocket if he continues with his impressive performance.
Kulusevski has established a great understanding with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min which could help Tottenham finish in the top four. Conte continues to play down his chances of finishing in the Champions League, although he could certainly be aiming to catch fourth-place Arsenal with this trio.
As things stand, Spurs would like to speed up talks with Juventus and sign the Swede permanently. Finalizing the deal can be a straightforward discussion, although dramatic and late twists and turns are always possible in football.
