Bukayo Saka has hinted he will stay at Arsenal next season despite rumors of interest from Liverpool and Manchester City. The England star has seemingly ended speculation surrounding his future in a thank you message to Gunners fans after being voted the club’s Player of the Season for the second year running.
After winning the award, the 20-year-old expressed his gratitude to Gunners fans in a video uploaded to Arsenal’s Twitter account. Saka said: “Hello Arsenal fans, I just wanted to thank you for electing me as your player of the season again. It’s a real honor to win this trophy and I really feel all your love and support. support. See you next season.”
The last line in particular is the part that will undoubtedly fill Arsenal fans with hope. Gunners supporters have seen Saka’s future shrouded in uncertainty in recent months as news of a potential Emirates extension has apparently been slow to kick in.
Although the winger shows no signs of wanting to leave north London, childhood Arsenal fan Saka has been the subject of much speculation as he prepares to enter the final two years of his contract with the Gunners. Both Liverpool and City have been credited with their interest in the Arsenal striker, who is currently reportedly earning just £30,000 a week.

“Obviously, our desire is to keep Bukayo as long as possible, because we are really happy. He is part of our club, of our DNA, he is growing, he is maturing. His importance in the team is indisputable and we want to keep our best talents, that’s for sure.
Saka scored 12 goals and registered a further seven assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal last season. The England international’s 15-time exploits have also seen interest from Real Madrid.
