There aren’t many things that Darren Bent loves more than Arsenal.
But one of them is Brazilian legend Ronaldinho – who he believes would be worth a record £300m in today’s market.
Bent and his co-host Andy Goldstein continued a conversation that took place on talkSPORT Drive on Tuesday, where they discussed the value of legendary football figures in today’s market.
And Bent, who has previously proclaimed his love for Ronaldinho on talkSPORT – declaring the midfielder his favorite player of all time – insists he would be worth an eye-watering sum in today’s market.
“£300m, minimum,” Bent replied when asked how much he would value the former Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan man.
“Not every football fan can watch clips of him or watch him play, if you have the honor of watching him play, and not just smile,” he added.
The conversation then shifted to another of Bent’s favorite players – Thierry Henry.
And despite being a huge Arsenal fan, Bent insists Ronaldinho’s valuation would still eclipse Henry if they were playing in the current era.

Asked about the value of the former Gunners striker, Bent said: “£200m, maybe? Well, he’s the greatest player to ever play in the Premier League.
“So maybe a little more than that.”
Henry’s former teammate Dennis Bergkamp was next.
“£180m,” Bent said.
But Goldstein clearly disagreed, struggling to understand the reasoning behind Bent’s assessment of the Dutchman.
“Dennis Bergkamp, £180m?! I don’t see that. That’s crazy money,” the co-host replied.
“I think you’re rating him a bit too high. His numbers were awful!
Former Arsenal players became a topic for this topic of conversation, as Bent was then asked about Ian Wright, whom some Gunners fans consider their greatest striker of all time.
“Ooo, £100m? No, £120m I count for Wrighty,” Bent decided.
Goldstein’s joke valued Bent at £50m on Tuesday’s show, which the former Premier League striker scoffed at.
So the question is: do you prefer one Ronaldinho or six Darren Bents?
