One of Manchester City’s players from last season has been the subject of considerable interest from one of Europe’s big boys at Barcelona and they are confident a deal can be agreed.
Bernardo Silva has been an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s squad for a long time and it would be a monumental failure if he leaves, but Silva has yet to submit an official transfer request.
According to Gerard Romero any deal wouldn’t be easy, but from Barcelona’s perspective it’s certain that a price could be agreed with the Premier League champions.
The Catalans believe they can offer Manchester City between £65m and £70m with low bonuses which would allow them to get their man.

However, Silva isn’t at the forefront of Barcelona’s plans at the moment and of all operations, he’s the furthest away at the moment.
The five-time European champions recently announced the signings of Frank Kessie and Andreas Christensen on free deals from AC Milan and Chelsea respectively.
Robert Lewandowski has been linked throughout the window and it looks like they are focused on signing the Poland international rather than bringing Silva into Xavi’s squad at the moment.
