Two big names in rugby union have been appointed Barbarian FC coaches for the historic clash against the All Blacks XV at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday November 13 (2 p.m.*).
Former All Black flanker Scott Robertson, who has led the Crusaders to four successive Super Rugby titles as a manager since 2017, will be joined by Ronan O’Gara, Ireland’s second all-time selection with 128 between 2000-2013 , three-time British Lion, 2009 Grand Slam winner and two-time Heineken Champions Cup winner with Munster.
The pair trained together when O’Gara joined the Christchurch-based Crusaders in 2018, winning the Super Rugby Championship in 2018 and 2019. O’Gara joined La Rochelle for 2019/20 and led the French side to his first Heineken Champions Cup title in May. , beating Leinster in the final.
Now they are together again for the first ever international rugby union match to be played at our stadium as the teams compete for the Killik Cup.
