Back on Saturday, we covered A Bola claiming Manchester City owners are interested in signing Boavista defender Jackson Porozo.
It has been claimed that the City Group are ready to offer €3m to sign the youngster which shouldn’t be enough to convince the Portuguese side, who have demanded more to let the player go.
Now is the time for the O Jogo newspaper to signal this interest as well. After Boavista’s game against Porto this weekend, they give news about the home side.
The outlet presents a short story to say that Porozo has been targeted in an approach by Manchester City’s ‘business group’ and that a move ‘could happen soon’.

Unlike A Bola, O Jogo does not provide any details on how much City Group is willing to offer for Porozo, or even how much is enough for Boavista to accept the sale.
It’s also still unclear where the defender would land in the event of a move.
Because even if the Manchester City name continues to be used in the stories, it could still be transferred to one of their partner clubs. With Boavista not used to seeing his players go straight to the Premier League, this possibility could be the first step, with a subsequent career at Manchester City hanging like a carrot.
