Milan want to complete a Tomori-style operation for the Spurs defender

AC Milan are continuing to work to sign a new centre-back and are seriously considering signing Japhet Tanganga from Spurs, according to a report.

After missing out on Sven Botman, the Rossoneri management have been forced to turn to different avenues in their search to find the right replacement for Alessio Romagnoli, and it looks like Tanganga is the name that is coming back into fashion.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), work is continuing on the Tanganga deal as Milan are very keen on the 23-year-old, believing he is the right profile to complete the department.

The newspaper then adds that Milan are studying a Tomori-style operation, which means Tanganga could arrive on loan with an option to buy just like his compatriot did in the winter transfer window during the 2020-21 campaign, before to become a permanent and very valuable Milan player.
