AC Milan are no longer certain they can keep Rafael Leao as he attracts interest from several clubs, according to a report.
According to the journalist Santi Aouna from Footmercato, the Rossoneri are unsure if they can keep Leao beyond the summer despite there being a contract offer on the table.
Several clubs are interested in the Portuguese winger including Manchester City, who started discussions with his agent Jorge Mendes a few weeks ago.
In 42 appearances in all competitions, the former Lille man has amassed 14 goals and 12 assists, so it’s no surprise he’s catching the eye of Europe’s strongest clubs.
His current contract expires in June 2024, so Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to bolster the squad by locking down key stalwarts ahead of a bid to deepen the Champions League and renewals like Leao are key to cementing a strong dressing room.
