AC Milan have made contact over a possible deal for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, according to a Spanish report.
Marcos Durán from Diario AS reports that Milan and Tottenham have opened talks over the possibility of signing Ecuadorian international defender Hincapié during the summer transfer window.
However, it won’t be an easy task for any interested club as the Bundesliga outfit are in talks with the 20-year-old over improving his contract.
One thing is etched in Hincapie’s mind: he wants to contest the Champions League next season, which each of Leverkusen, Milan and Spurs can offer him, but the market is only just beginning and there could be twists and turns regarding its renewal.
Hincapie signed for Leverkusen from Talleres in the summer of 2021 and made a very quick impact in Germany, making 33 appearances for Bayer in his debut campaign in the Bundesliga and Europa League.
