Manchester United continue to search for their first summer signing today after Premier League fixtures were announced on Thursday.
Erik ten Hag’s first Premier League game will be at home to Brighton and Hove Albion while his first taste of a competitive game against Liverpool comes on Saturday August 20. Before that, United will need to strengthen their squad and Ajax’s Jurrien Timber. is one of the players linked with a move to Old Trafford.
However, reports in the Netherlands suggest that Timber plans to stay at the Amsterdam club this summer. It has already been suggested that the centre-back is not keen on a move to Manchester as it could jeopardize his chances of making the World Cup.
One player who will definitely not be at United next season is Paul Pogba. The Frenchman may have burned many bridges at the Theater of Dreams as he walked out of the club after comments he made in Amazon Prime’s new documentary ‘The Pogmentary’ were published.
Pogba slammed the club’s new contract offers on camera before comparing himself to Jesus.
