Liverpool players dress up for Andy Robertson’s wedding

Jordan Henderson has shared a picture of several smart-looking Liverpool players at Andy Robertson’s wedding this summer.

Posting the photo on Instagram, Henderson used the caption ‘Team Goals’ as the Reds swapped their kits for suits.

As a groom, Robertson finds himself at the center of the picture. In a range of different colors and styles, James Milner, Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Henderson and Virgil Van Dijk.

Former Liverpool star Adam Lallana sneaks in at the end of the photo. Jurgen Klopp was memorably a huge fan of Lallana, calling him ‘one of the most influential players’ he has ever coached via liverpoolfc.com.

And clearly Lallana has not been forgotten by his former teammates either. Although he left Liverpool for Brighton in 2020, he is obviously still present in the team. You guys look good!

Thiago’s influence grows at Liverpool

It’s always good to see members of the Liverpool squad socializing away from the pitch. Time spent together will only deepen the bonds that side-by-side play and training bring on a daily basis.

In particular, it’s worth noting Thiago’s inclusion here. Apart from the 31-year-old, all the other players pictured have been at the club for at least four and a half years.

Thiago has been at Anfield for just two years. Nevertheless, among the true leaders of the club, he has already established himself as a key figure.

He was recently seen translating for Darwin Nunez and was also instrumental in bringing Luis Diaz to the club.

It’s not just with the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking contingent that he’s popular. There’s a distinctly British feel to Robbo’s players, and Thiago seems to have integrated into that as well.

As his influence on the pitch grows in Liverpool, so does his influence. His signing from Bayern Munich in 2020 was significant in many ways. It was the first time an established world-class player had joined Liverpool in many years, possibly ever.

Not only did Liverpool secure a majestic player for an unbelievably low price, but he was also a huge influence in the dressing room. We can’t wait to see how Thiago steps it up for his third season in red. You have the feeling that the best is yet to come.
