Bernardo Silva sends blunt title message to Liverpool
Bernardo Silva insists he would rather be in Manchester City’s position than Liverpool’s after Pep Guardiola’s side could only manage a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park Monday evening.
City had the chance to restore a six-point gap between them and Jurgen Klopp’s side with a win over Palace, but in the white-hot atmosphere they could only leave south London with a point.
It means the gap between the two title-chasing teams is now four points, with the Reds set to play their current fixture at Arsenal on Wednesday night, which could reduce the deficit to just one point.
But, despite the pressure beginning to mount on the Champions, who at one point in the season had a 13-point lead, midfielder Silva believes his side are still in pole position to retain their title.
