Dimitar Berbatov’s Premier League predictions including Liverpool vs Tottenham

Another huge series of matches takes place this weekend (Picture: Getty)

Manchester City and Liverpool head into another high-stakes weekend of Premier League action knowing that any mistake could cost them the title.

Liverpool can reclaim top spot with a win on Saturday night, but will face arguably their toughest test of the run-in when they host Tottenham at Anfield with Harry Kane and Heung-min Son in lethal form.

After their Champions League heartbreak in midweek, City regroup at home to Newcastle United on Sunday.

It’s also another potentially decisive weekend at the bottom of the table with Everton and Leeds United facing tough road tests against Leicester City and Arsenal while Burnley will look to continue their home run against Aston Villa.

Brentford v Southampton

Southampton v Crystal Palace - Premier League

These two teams don’t really play much, games like this can be pretty boring or really entertaining, hopefully for the latter. I think Brentford will get the better of Southampton in this one. Prediction 2-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Brentford 5/4, Draw 13/5, Southampton 5/2

Burnley v Aston Villa

Watford v Burnley - Premier League

Burnley have won their last three games (Picture: Getty)

It’s another massive game for Burnley. They now have a great chance to stay on their feet, they have that fire in them and they can cause problems for the opposition. They have a lot of momentum with them right now and I expect that to continue in this one. Prediction 1-0.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Burnley 12/5, Draw 12/5, Aston Villa 7/5

Chelsea v Wolves

Everton v Chelsea - Premier League

Chelsea suffered defeat at Everton last time out (Picture: Getty)

Wolves have been falling lately, they were pushing for the top four at one point, but they’ve faded. Chelsea have the FA Cup final coming up, I think they will have their eye on it, but I still think they have enough quality to win the game. Prediction 2-0.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Chelsea 4/11, Draw 9/2, Wolves 10/1

Crystal Palace v Watford

Southampton v Crystal Palace - Premier League

Palace looking for a strong end to the season (Picture: Getty)

In a game like this when relegation is imminent you play for your pride, I don’t see Watford getting anything out of it and they know they are almost down now. Prediction 3-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Crystal Palace 8/11, Draw 16/5, Watford 9/2

Brighton v Man Utd

Manchester United v Brentford - Premier League

United improved a lot in their win over Brentford (Picture: Getty)

It will be an interesting game, the top four seem like an impossible task, United have a very, very slim chance they will have to win their remaining games. Brighton are playing good football, but United will want to finish the season well. Prediction 1-2.

Betfair Exchange odds: Brighton 9/5, Draw 5/2, Man United 7/4

Liverpool v Tottenham

Liverpool v Everton - Premier League

Salah is looking to lead another win (Picture: Getty)

Oh my God. If anyone can help City, it’s Spurs. Conte’s side chase the top four and need to score points. Liverpool also have two cup finals coming up, it will be on their minds, they will think about their priority. There is a chance of an upset here. Prediction 2-2.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Liverpool 1/2, Draw 4/1, Spurs 13/2

Norwich v West Ham

Eintracht Frankfurt v West Ham United: Semi-Final 2 - UEFA Europa League

West Ham are coming off a disappointing night in Europe (Picture: Getty)

West Ham will suffer after losing their semi-final and will want to bounce back strong. It’s a good game to forget their disappointment. Prediction 0-2.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Norwich 4/1, Draw 3/1, West Ham 4/5

Leicester v Everton

Everton v Chelsea - Premier League

Everton are fighting for their survival (Picture: Getty)

Everton must win this. They beat Man United and Chelsea recently, and that’s huge. Leicester had a tough game against Roma and they missed out on a place in the Europa Conference final so they will be losers. Everton and Lampard have a moment and they need the win, I think they will get another here. Prediction 0-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Leicester 7/4, Draw 12/5, Everton 15/8

Arsenal v Leeds

Arteta signed a new contract this week (Picture: Getty)

Arsenal are in for a good time, Arteta has extended his contract which will give the place a feel-good factor. Leeds are in danger and I expect it to be a difficult afternoon for them. Prediction 2-0.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Arsenal 1/2, Draw 4/1, Leeds 13/2

Manchester City v Newcastle

City need to bounce back from their loss to Real Madrid (Picture: Getty)

It’s the game of the weekend for me. This is where we find out what City are made of, it’s a critical point where the players need to get back on their feet after that devastating loss to Madrid. They just have to win, no matter how. Prediction 3-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Man City 2/11, Draw 8/1, Newcastle 19/1
