Brighton wing-back Marc Cucurella has admitted there are certain clubs ‘you can’t say no to’ amid rumors linking him with Man City.
The Spaniard has been excellent for the Seagulls in 2021/22 as he was named Players’ Player of the Season.

He joined Getafe for around £16million last summer and has made 39 appearances in all competitions this term.
After shining in the Premier League in his first season in England, Cururella has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium.
With Marcos Alonso likely to leave Chelsea this summer, the 23-year-old has emerged as a potential target for the Blues.
However, he has also been linked with Man City, Tottenham and Juventus. City need a new left-back due to Benjamin Mendy being unavailable.
Cucurella was asked about the rumors linking him with the Premier League champions, and he admitted he hadn’t spoken to Pep Guardiola about a potential transfer.
The former Barcelona man also hinted he was using Brighton as a springboard, insisting there are certain teams you can’t turn down.

“The goal [at Brighton] had to develop for the big clubs to take notice,” he said (quotes via Manchester Evening News).
“But if the opportunity arises, take advantage of it. There are teams you can’t say no to. No honestly no [Pep Guardiola has not called]. Of course, there are rumours.
“If people talk about you like that, that’s a good thing. We are calm; the most important thing right now is to rest.
Elsewhere, Brighton right-back Tariq Lamptey has asked to be dropped from Lee Carsley’s England Under-21 squad as he considers an approach from the Ghana national team.
“He had an approach. It’s something he considers at the minute,” Carsley said.
“He asked to be dropped from the squad for some free space. He’s not switched, he’s not cemented or anything like that but he got an approach (from Ghana), we have to respect that.
“We have made it clear how important we see him to us. I know seniors too.
