Kepa Arrizabalaga is ready to take a pay cut to move to Lazio from Chelsea, but he’s not their main target at the moment.
The Spaniard has struggled for regular playing time at Chelsea, with Edouard Mendy being the first choice between the sticks under Thomas Tuchel.
Kepa has been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge in recent transfer windows but a move has yet to materialise.
The star of the Blues drew admiring glances from Newcastle Unitedwho are eyeing the possibility of signing him this summer, while Serie A giants Lazio are also credited with interest.
And according to the Italian daily Il MessaggeroKepa is ready to give up part of his €5m salary to leave Chelsea and join Lazio in the upcoming window.
However, although Kepa is a player that Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri admires, he is not their priority target this summer.
Lazio have focused on Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi as their primary target to bolster their goalkeeping department, while Kepa remains on their radar.
It remains to be seen if Lazio will make any concrete moves for the Chelsea star in the upcoming window.
