Bayern Munich are currently unwilling to budge on their €60m valuation of star striker Robert Lewandowski, with Barcelona’s current offer falling well below that figure. 90 minutes understand.
The Polish superstar has made no secret of his desire to swap Bavaria for Catalonia this summer, spending much of June telling the media that he wanted a new challenge at this stage of his career.
90 minutes understands that Barcelona’s most recent offer for Lewandowski was in the region of €40m, which is €20m below Bayern’s price.
Lewandowski is increasingly agitated by the lack of breakthrough in negotiations, although sources close to Bayern predict a deal closer to 50 million euros could be achieved.
As Barcelona continue to drag on, Chelsea are keeping a close eye on the situation.
