Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in signing Moussa Dembele.
According to Foot Mercato, Olympique Lyon face a battle to keep Moussa Dembele. The striker has become a sought-after prospect in the market after a promising campaign in Ligue 1. He is mainly courted by Premier League clubs, with the list including Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also involved in the race as they look to bring Dembele back to the Premier League. Lyon could be ready to let go of their star striker for a fee of around €25m, well below their price tag of €33m last summer.
Formerly from Fulham, Dembele has continued to impress onlookers with his goalscoring prowess, following his return from Atletico Madrid last summer. The Frenchman has become a star for Lyon this season, scoring 21 league goals, assisting Les Gones finish eighth in the table.
The 25-year-old was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disastrous campaign for Lyon. His contributions in front of goal were key in helping the club move on from Memphis Depay, who joined FC Barcelona after the end of last season.
This summer, Lyon are in contention to lose Dembele, with Manchester United among the clubs interested in his services. The report cites the Premier League giants view Dembele as an ideal replacement for Edinson Cavani, who is out of contract at the end of June.
Manchester United are also hoping to replace Jesse Lingard, who is also expected to leave the club for free, with West Ham United in pole position to secure his services. Adding someone like Dembele could help the Red Devils weather the losses and provide a reliable alternative to Cristiano Ronaldo in the No.9 role.
Arsenal are set to offer fierce competition to Manchester United in their pursuit of Dembele. The Gunners are preparing to live without Alexandre Lacazette while Eddie Nketiah has become a target for Chelsea and Liverpool following his impressive performances in recent weeks. Even though Nketiah could sign a new contract, Arsenal need at least one new centre-forward to bolster their attack, making Dembele a viable target.
Tottenham Hotspur are the other club interested in Dembele’s services. The Lilywhites are looking for a reliable alternative for Harry Kane, and the Frenchman fits the bill perfectly, due to his experience at the highest level of football, coupled with his goalscoring prowess.

Dembele’s €25m price tag shouldn’t be a major hurdle for any of those clubs either, although the report suggests the player is in no rush to leave Lyon and an extended stay at the club is unlikely. can be excluded at all.
