Inter are undoubtedly well placed for his signature, and Dybala confirming he is ‘happy in Italy’ will offer the Serie A champions further encouragement. Club vice-president Javier Zanetti has admitted they may look to pair him with Argentina team-mate Lautaro Martinez next season.
“Maybe [we’ll sign Dybala]”, Zanetti explained. “The transfer market is opening up. We have a lot of time, we are a club that must seize opportunities. If this turns out to be the case, we will evaluate it. You also have to be realistic. The constraints we face are the ones you know, but we are talking about a great player when it comes to Dybala.”
