Fabrizio Romano reports that scouts from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have monitored Ivory Coast right-back Wilfried Singo countless times.
Milan News add that Arsenal like the defender, with Tuttosport reporting that Milan, Inter and Juventus are joining the Gunners and Spurs in the hunt for his signature.
Singo has made 26 appearances for Turin this season, scoring three goals and assisting four more. Arsenal are reportedly looking for a backup right-back this summer.
The Ivorian international is only 21 years old and he has a bright future ahead of him. Although it’s worth mentioning that he’s mainly played as a right-back this season, not a full-back four.
It wouldn’t be the first time Arsenal and Spurs have been linked with a right-back before signing for one of the two.
That’s exactly what happened with Emerson Royal and Takehiro Tomiyasu last summer.
Arsenal fans would be more than happy to point out how well it worked for them the first time around, with Tomiyasu proving successful so far.
If Arsenal think Singo could have a similar impact by swapping Serie A for the Premier League, they will surely make a move this summer.
