Arsenal and Chelsea take on Liverpool and Manchester United for Jarrod Bowen

Premier League bigwigs Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are on high alert as West Ham United prepare a contract extension for Jarrod Bowen.

A recent 90min report offered an update on Jarrod Bowen’s future. The West Ham United striker has become a top target for various top clubs in England as we prepare for another busy transfer window. Liverpool have long been interested in Bowen, but the report suggests other big dogs are also watching his situation.

Chelsea and Arsenal, in particular, are keeping tabs on Bowen, as well as Manchester United. Amid widespread interest in signing the Englishman, West Ham have accelerated the process of handing over a contract extension in a bid to keep him at the club beyond the summer.

With a tally of 50 goals in just over 100 competitive appearances, Bowen has been a vital cog in West Ham’s rise to prominence under David Moyes. His pace and craftiness on the flanks, coupled with his productivity, added a new dimension to West Ham’s attacking play.

Liverpool are longtime admirers of Bowen. Jurgen Klopp values him highly because of his straightforward style of play which goes hand in hand with the German’s tactical philosophy at Liverpool. As such, the Reds have maintained their interest in the player, in light of Sadio Mane’s uncertain future at the club, with the Senegal international heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

Another club keeping tabs on Bowen is Chelsea. The former Hull City man could be targeted as a potential alternative to main target Ousmane Dembele. The Frenchman is available on a free transfer this summer, but his lavish wage demands should make the deal quite tricky for Chelsea. That’s why Thomas Tuchel is keeping his options open by targeting Bowen.

Arsenal and Manchester United, on the other hand, currently lack options in the attacking unit. The Gunners are bracing for the departures of Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette and possibly even Nicolas Pepe, while Manchester United could end up offloading Marcus Rashford this summer.

Jarrod Bowen could be a perfect fit for all of these four English football bigwigs. West Ham, however, won’t let him go easily given his importance to Moyes’ setup.

The Hammers are actually preparing an outstanding contract extension for the explosive winger. They are confident to convince him to extend his stay at the London Stadium and be part of the club’s exciting project for years to come. So Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United may have to look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.
