Arsenal Myles Lewis-Skelly, 15, and Amario Cozier-Duberry, 17 (whose 17th birthday was last week) both started for the England U17s against Norway on Saturday.
The pair of youngsters have been involved for England Under-17s on several international breaks this year, with Lewis-Skelly playing two years above their age group.
Lewis-Skelly made his Arsenal U18 debut from the bench last April, aged just 14.
He even scored against Reading that day, but the game was played under rather peculiar circumstances, with both sides agreeing to name younger squads than they usually would.
As a result, what was most impressive was Lewis-Skelly making his first two starts and playing 90 minutes for Arsenal Under-18s against Chelsea and Everton at the end of 2021.
Meanwhile, Cozier-Duberry has scored five goals and provided six assists for Arsenal’s academy this season, including his goal and assist for the Under-23s. He quickly got comfortable after his recent rise from the U16s last year.
The pair certainly look like bright prospects for the future of Arsenal’s academy.
