Armando Broja is set to fly out to join Chelsea on their US tour this week, Athleticism understand.
Broja was not in the squad which left on Saturday amid uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge.
But there has been no significant move and so the 20-year-old striker will join head coach Thomas Tuchel and the rest of his squad in the coming days.
The Albania international is attracting interest from West Ham United and Everton, although Chelsea’s plans for him remain unclear.
Broja spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League club Southampton, scoring 13 goals in 45 appearances for club and country.
Chelsea’s US tour opener against Club America will take place on July 17.
