It’s been a few years since Juventus were first linked with Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, and while it wasn’t always a hot topic in recent transfer windows, it looks like a good opportunity for the Old Lady may soon present itself.
Journalist Rudy Galetti writes today that the Bianconeri ‘continue to monitor’ the Brazilian, whose contract with the Premier League club runs until 2023.
Manchester City have just signed River Plate star Julian Alvarez who Pep Guardiola says will join the club this summer.
That’s why Galetti claims the club could end up letting Jesus go in case of a ‘suitable offer’ from interested parties.
However, it is claimed that before going for Jesus, Juventus will try to secure the signing of Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid but that would only happen if he is cut.
So it seems that if the Spaniard is not signed, the Old Lady’s plan is to go for the Manchester City player, who has scored six goals in 29 appearances this season.
